Drawing on Flash

shapes

Today we used Flash/Adobe Animate to  create simple shapes. Firstly we used the shape tools and colour/line options to make a circle, oval, square, rectangle, pentagon and star. To contort them you can hover over lines and an option will come up, a curved like or corner line, where if you click and drag a line from there the shape will either bend or you can move the corner. To create holes in the shapes I’d overlay them with another shape with the same line style and colour, then selected the inside of the shape and deleted it, so you would be left with a hole in the shape which is lined.

This was really helpful as Flash is an intimidating programme to me, so getting to grips with designing on it was good to do as that’s where I feel most confident, so at least I’m beginning in a good place for me to learn.
